Rev. Dr. Alexis Brinkley
Reverend Dr. Alexis Brinkley is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies and Psychology, with an emphasis in Philosophy, from Saint Leo University where she graduated with honors.
Continuing her educational pursuits, she received a scholarship and graduated with honors from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, with her Master of Theological Studies Degree. In May 2008, she graduated from McCormick Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry Degree.
It was 27 years ago when the shift happened for Rev. Dr. Alexis Brinkley. She had reached her capacity in the organization she loved and had to address some of the distractions and detours she had made along the way that was stopping her from gaining access to her next level. Being called to ministry in an environment not conducive for women she had to be creative, relentless, and intentional to what she believed was her life’s assignment.
